FADING OUT

Ho avuto il privilegio di poter accompagnare mia madre alla sua fine, legata ad una malattia incurabile di cui siamo venute a conoscenza improvvisamente.
Ho cercato di raccontare questo percorso, vissuto in solitudine, caratterizzato da iniziale confusione e disorientamento, e trasformatosi poi piano piano in consapevolezza della sua vulnerabilità e fragilità, e dell’ineluttabilità della fine.
Ho vissuto il processo del graduale deterioramento fisico ed ho sentito il dissolversi della sua persona, preparandomi faticosamente alla separazione ed al suo passaggio finale.
