IMPRIMATUR
Sul Cammino di Santiago ho chiesto ad alcuni pellegrini di provare ad esprimere con un gesto ed una parola il senso di questa loro esperienza.
Ho notato che molte persone non avevano consapevolezza del significato che attribuivano al loro viaggio, per cui la mia richiesta si è trasformata in un'occasione per riflettere sulle proprie motivazioni e sulle scoperte che questo percorso, condiviso con migliaia di uomini e donne provenienti da tutto il mondo, ha portato loro. Alcune persone si sono emozionate nel focalizzare ed imprimere sulla carta, nero su bianco, la parola che esprimeva il significato di questo cammino, così impegnativo nella realtà e nella propria interiorità.
In diverse situazioni si è creato un clima di scambio reciproco e in molti mi hanno ringraziata per l'opportunità che ho loro offerto di fermarsi a pensare a questo viaggio, concedendomi poi di raccogliere la traccia della loro riflessione.
Along the Routes of Santiago de Compostela (Camino de Santiago), I asked some pilgrims to try and express the meaning of their experience with a gesture or a word. I noticed that many people weren’t aware of the implication they gave to their journey, so my request turned into an opportunity to make them reflect upon the motivations and discoveries that this route, shared with thousands of women and men coming from all over the world, brought to them. Some of them got emotionally involved when focussing on and marking in writing the word that conveyed the meaning of this path, which was so demanding in reality and in one’s inner life.
In different situations, an atmosphere of mutual exchange was created and many thanked me for the opportunity I had given them to stop and think about this journey and allowed me to show the evidence of their reflections.
